The right to occupy a specific apartment for a designated week each year until 2024.
All occupants of apartments automatically become Members of the Club: either Full Members or Temporary Members. As Club members they enjoy the privileges of complimentary golf, subject to availability of tee times, discounts etc. described in our about Penina Apartments page.
The advantages of becoming a Full Member are:
The apartments are owned and controlled from the UK. A Committee appointed by the Members administers the Club on behalf of Full Members who receive regular Newsletters on developments. There is an AGM each year in the UK.
Each Full Member is entitled to a vote and is the owner of the right to occupation of the apartment for the designated week(s). The Full Member has the right to sell their weeks and a right to a share of the breakup value when the Club is dissolved. Currently the Club will dissolve in 2024, but Full Members may vote to extend the life of the Club as they did in 2009
Management fees are payable in Sterling and currently vary between T2 £815; T3 £850; T4 (or T3+1) £895 per week inclusive of golf.
The Club is nonprofit making and all surpluses are re-invested in facilities for the Members.
A Portuguese company supplies on site services with a reception from 9.30 until 17.30 seven days a week.
We have a selection of apartments available for purchase throughout the year (altough, as would be expected, fewer are available during high season).
